Heather Budden

Dr. Heather Budden has more than ten years of experience teaching at the university level. She earned her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Business Management from Louisiana Tech University, with a minor in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Budden has taught a wide range of courses designed to help students understand the people and processes that contribute to organizational success. She currently teaches Strategic Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior at LSU. Her teaching and professional interests include Organizational Behavior, leadership, human resource management, and the dynamics of today’s diverse workplace.

Dr. Budden has experience teaching courses in organizational behavior, compensation and benefits, managing the diverse workplace, leadership, and international management. She is particularly interested in helping students connect organizational and management theories to real-world workplace experiences and challenges.

In her free time, Dr. Budden enjoys travelling and spending time with family.
