Frances Rodriguez
Residence Coordinator
College is such a special and amazing time, but sometimes you need a little extra help. For me going into college there were so many changes and new things I had to learn and I leaned on different support people on campus to help me process what I was going through. I love that now I get to care for and help give guidance to the students who are experiencing the same concerns and feelings that I was. It brings me so much joy to see the students I have worked with grow and take on leadership roles, succeed in their classes, and find success after graduation in their careers or further degree programs.
"I learned what it means to be an active member of a community. Getting involved in your community, taking care of the people and space, and advocating for your needs and the needs of others is so important and carries over into live after living on campus too." -Frances

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is
Take the things you do seriously, but don't take yourself seriously. Life is boring if you can't laugh at yourself from time to time.
If I didn't have this job, I would be a
