Become a Win-Win Fellow
Seeking NSF GRP Honorable Mentions
Congratulations on receiving an Honorable Mention on your NSF GRFP Application! We invite you to make an impact on critical sustainability issues with a WIN-WIN Fellowship at LSU. If accepted, you will receive an NSF GRFP.
What is WIN-WIN?
Win-Win, or WIdening the Nation's STEM Workforce INside Louisiana, provides you the opportunity to earn your PhD while working on solutions to build resilience and achieve ambitious Net-Zero climate goals by 2050. Delve into how one of Louisiana's most important industries - energy - depends on and impacts its most valuable resource: its coastline.
Anyone with a Bachelor’s or Masters in a STEM discipline and an interest in the exciting fields of energy and environmental sciences is eligible. You can apply through the NSF ETAP system.
Fellows may train with one or more of our multidisciplinary team of faculty members in the following research areas:
- River delta connectivity and function
- Coastal hydroclimate drivers
- Wetland salinity and biogeochemistry
- Multi-scale coral disease propagation
- Carbon circular economy
- Microplastics removal
- Nanoscale chemical reaction imaging
- Computational catalysis
- Sustainable biomanufacturing
