About Us

The Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management is dedicated to providing the construction industry with a graduate ready to accept the challenges of today's global market. As a student in the program, you will receive an extensive education designed to prepare you to manage the construction process successfully. Students will take courses in engineering, construction, design, and business. This interdisciplinary approach gives our students greater flexibility and makes them very marketable to employers.

Our graduates enter the construction industry in various positions with the ability to lead, problem solves, and use innovative applications on their projects. They quickly become valued members of a construction team and participate in planning, cost estimating, scheduling, supervision, and commissioning of a complete facility in a timely, safe, and quality manner.

Our construction management undergraduate degree program was established in 1972 and has been accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) since 1982. The ACCE has accredited the construction management MS graduate program since 2016.
