Scholarships and Awards for Incoming Freshmen
The Ogden Honors College offers some of the university's most competitive merit-based funding, including two full-ride scholarships covering the complete cost of attendance for four years.
Significant funding opportunities are available to Ogden Honors College students, both through Honors College scholarships and through general LSU scholarships. Substantial merit-based awards are available to entering Honors College freshmen.
Entering Honors College freshmen are automatically considered for the Stamps Scholarship and Chancellor's Alumni Scholarship simply by applying, and honors-caliber applicants often qualify for additional LSU merit awards on top of these.
Priority deadline: December 1. Complete your Common Application and all required documents by this date to be considered for top-tier awards.
Please note: only entering Ogden Honors College freshmen are eligible for these scholarships.
Honorific Scholarships
The Ogden Honors College awards the Stamps Scholarship and the Chancellor's Alumni Scholarship. These are LSU's top merit-based scholarships that provide the full cost of attendance for four years.

Consideration for Merit-Based Scholarships
Prospective freshmen, with a strong record of high academic achievement, leadership, and service, are nominated for consideration through the admissions process.
Prospective students must complete their application to the university through the Common Application, and submit all required documentation by the scholarship priority deadline, December 1, to be considered.
The Office of Enrollment Management, in consultation with the Ogden Honors College, considers completed applications and selects students to advance to the scholarship competition.
All applicants to the Honors College (including international applicants) will be considered for the Stamps and Chancellor's Alumni scholarships.

Since honors admission requirements mirror or surpass those of many of LSU's major scholarships, entering Honors College freshmen often automatically qualify for LSU merit-based scholarships.
